AWWA Future Planned ProgramsOur focus and priority is women and children.

1.     Children :We are interested to work among street children, rag pickers, working children ( child labourers), child sex workers, school dropouts.

2.      Women in Urban Slums & Women from rural areas:We are interested to work with women in rural and urban slum communities and in activities aiming at women development through self-help group (SHG) formation, formation of women groups, women skill development activities, income generating activities, awareness generation progrmmes and health promotion of women and children. Health programmes include mother and child health (MCH), family welfare programmes, Reproductive and child health (RCH), sex education, education on reproductive and sexual health for adolescent girls and prevention of HIV /AIDS.

3. Women in difficult circumstancesWe also interested to work with commercial sex workers (CSWs) in HIV/AID prevention and other programes include family counelling programe for battered women, victim of violence and work for the rehabilitation of unwed mothers, divorced, deserted and separated women from the poor families towards their empowerment and economic independence.

4) We are planning to construct a women Hostel for Children and women.

5) Old age homes for the old homeless.

6) home for poor for Computer course training for those who cannot afford to pay fee

7) We are planning to conduct free cutting and tailoring programs to 10,000 poor women. and provide them each with a sewing machine to support their families.OUR BENEFICIARY GROUPS:Children: child Labourers (working children), street children, rag pickers, school dropouts, child prostitutes and other vulnerable children from the poor families living in.urban slums and rural communities. Rural & Urban slum Women: Women living in urban slums, rural villages, including women with disabilities,  women in difficult circumstances including, deserted women, widows, battered women, victims of violence.Young & Adolescent girls and women: living in rural areas and in urban slums are our priority groups.Disabled Women and girls: with mental and physical disabilities belonging to all categories - loco-motor, visual, hearing, speech and mental handicaps.Old age women: Care and rehabilitation of the aged - especially the aged women, who do not have any one to fall back upon, through the health care support, provision of clothing, spiritual help and other assistance.***
